I know, I know! I'm just now posting about Thanksgiving. Give me a break though! I've been busy...busy...busy.
No... really we Had a great Thanksgiving. We didn't spend time with family, which would have been great, but we did have a fun and adventurous Thanksgiving! We went to the Walters house on Wednesday and had a bonfire, in the process catching their neighbors tree on fire! Oh...it was fun and back breaking to be running from the house to the tree with buckets, trash cans, pitchers, Balloons (filled with water), Squirt guns, water hoses, tall cups and whatever we could get our hands on! Literally! I'm not joking! Oh and we were sort of panicking too. Well, maybe just us girls.
The next day we went to the Allegrezza's house and had a great time there also! Not as adventurous though.
On Friday we completed our Thanksgiving celebration by having the Walters come over to our house! We learned that the next day after the fire the neighbors had decided to just burn down the entire tree! Oh, all...that work for nothin'!!! Why couldn't we have just let it go. I don't know but right now I'm having a video come to mind that we watched in youth group, about some people actually "worshiping" trees! I know it's crazzzzy but it happens. One of the people in the video was saying "save the trees, save the trees"! No don't save the trees we learned our lessen from that! You'll get back aches and then learn that your neighbor just went ahead and burned down the stinkin' tree!
Oh it was fun though, in the midst of the craziness! We thanked God that nobody got burned! Or at least I think nobody got burns...hmmm.
P.S. We also played scum with the Walters so now I know how to play it!

Scumb...or...Idjitt
I bet your about ready to ask me, "What on EARTH is IDJIT"! Well, I'm not telling you right now,and the way this post turns out I might not end up telling you, you might just end up guessing. I'll just tell you about last monday night.
OK, so my Mom went to a Mom's Night Out through the CHEC group, and we were left with my Dad. Which is not a bad thing at all. Usually some of the most interesting and fun nights end up being when my mom is gone and we are with my dad. For instance: playing hide and go seek (in the dark), having "backwards night" (eating your pizza backwards, wearing your PJ's inside out and backwards, eating desert first and then pizza, etc...), watching movies, tickle attacks,...you get the picture. So all this to say, that night, I called two friends to find out the rules on a game called Scum. I called the first person and then I explained the game as best as I could to my siblings who kept interrupting me and telling me "that's not how we played it at the so 'n' so's house" so I called the next person. This helped a lot, but all that work for nothing, because after that they didn't want to play anymore (they got tired of me being on the phone I guess).
So my wonderful father came up with a wonderful idea (and off the top of his head like a snap of the fingers)! He sat up and said "OK, were going to play idjit". You should have seen our puzzled faces at that moment, asking, "What is idjit? Did you make that up?" The reply was just a geeky smile and a "you'll see". So we played the game, it actually turned out pretty good, making it up as it went along. If you would like the directions on how to play idjit you can call my dad. I'm running out of time now for posting and I'm tired so I need to say goodnight to all. How is it that I'm always posting at night?
