Have you ever canned peaches?

I hadn't, untill a week and 1/2 ago. :) My sisters and I went to some friends house and canned peaches. We had fun boiling the peaches. We boiled them for about, 1 minute. Then we let them soak in cold water for about, 10 seconds. Then we did the fun and slimy part of getting the bad parts and the skin off.Then we cut up the peaches and scraped some of the red stuff out of the centers. It was so much fun canning peaches! This was my first time. I hope I'll remember how to do it, because this would be a very helpful thing to do in the future when I have a home of my own. Loco means crazy!

I'm just about done with the hallway!!! It does get tiring sometimes but as I have said, it is fun! We finished up with the garage sale. I despise east TX humid heat. It was 102 degrees here and we were outside! I think we all got a little dehydrated. :( I'm sorry, I am thinking on the negative side of things, maybe I should be thinking on the positive side of things, huh? We did make some $$ (it was all donation). It was hilarious to see my mom try to speak Spanish! She would say "everything is donacion. Me and my sposo (hand motions during the hole thing) have ocho ninos! response from some "oh oh oh". One couple that had one child walked off laughing saying something like "blank blank blank blank loco" (I couldn't understand everything but my mom and I busted out laughing because we both new what loco meant (it means crazy). So that was our garage sale experience. He, he, he. P.s. I barely now Spanish myself.
